A golf tournament to benefit Joe Buice has been scheduled for Feb. 24 at Morgan Dairy Golf Club.  he format will be four-player Lauderdale. Buice, also a former sheriff of Lamar County, and now Spalding County Deputy  is recuperating after being shot in the face with an assault rifle Jan. 29 while responding to a Suicide Threats call in Eastern Spalding County on McIntosh Road.
