Lt. Morris Pike of the Griffin Police Department has received the "District Attorney's Service to Youth Award" from Chief Frank Strickland. He was also recognized at the Awards Banquet for almost 30 years of service to youth through law enforcement. He was also nominated for "Law Enforcement Officer of the Year". WKEU would like to join with our Community to say thank you to Officer Pike for his dedication to our Youth, our City and our Citizens.  WKEUs Bill Taylor said that there is no doubt Morris Pike will become the beacon by which future officers working with youth will emulate. Our City is indeed lucky to have a department with professional officers like him.
