QUALIFYING FOR NOVEMBER 4, 2008 NON-PARTISAN ELECTION ENDED AT NOON FRIDAY.

 

Qualifying for the November 4th Non Partisan Election Ended at noon on Friday.  The Only one race will have two individual seeking the position as school board member.  The District 2 Position currently occupied by Boards Chairman Raymond Ray is being sought by Former Griffin Spalding School System Transportation Director Danny Kendrick, and Local Attorney James Westbury.

Uncontested races will include State Court Jude Sid Esary incumbent who has no opposition.  Magistrate Judge Rita Cavanaugh Incumbent has on Opposition, Probate Judge Dewitt Simonton Incumbent has no opposition,   Board of Education Incumbent Barbara Jo Cook has no opposition for the District 4 school board seat.  

Other races of note include the Superior Court Judge All incumbents have no opposition those include Judge Johnnie Caldwell, Judge Tommy Hankinson, and Judge Pascal English.
