The University of Georgia Griffin Campus news program at 9:00 Tuesday Morning Featured Art Cain Unit Coordinator for the Office of Continuing Education, Sharron Powell Microsoft Word Instructor, Cindy Woodle Instructor of Basic Cake Decorating Class, and Regina Mincey Paralegal Studies and II Instructor.

During the program WKEUs Bill Taylor talked with the group about the various programs.  Art Cain Unit Coordinator, Office of Continuing Education conducted the last of a three part program series of the Enrichment Classes.  Art Introduced Cindy Woodle the instructor of  the Basic Cake Decorating Class who stated that the class is continuing to Grow and is available to area residents at a around the 59.00 level and is open to those individuals that wish to learn advanced cake decorating.  Mrs. Woodle is the owner of the Cake Box a well known Bakery in Griffin and also teaches at the UGA Griffin Campus program. classes are held from 7 until 9 weekly With a new class starting March 23rd. There are 5 sessions to the class which are held in the Stucky Building at the UGA Griffin Campus. Also Mrs. Regina Mincey instructor for the Paralegal Studies I and II program appeared on the program to make area residents aware of the continuing and expanding need for Paralegals for Offices in Law Enforcement, County and city governments as well as Federal Agencies Nation Wide. You can get a certificate as a qualified Paralegal by attending the Phase I and Phase II program also offered at the Griffin Campus.  The Program starts in May and  is 14 weeks. Mrs. Sha'rron Powell the instructor for Microsoft Word 2003 level 1 and Microsoft Word 2007 level 1 gave an overview of her program and what participants learn. She shared some tips with the audience in Computers, and how to select your computer.  She also gave a over view of the compatibility of a old computer with Microsoft 2003 and a new one that may have 2007 loaded on it when its purchased.   How you can retrieve your files is more simple than you realize and is covered in the classes.
